Wednesday - Scouse

The reason people from Liverpool are called scousers is due to the local beef stew scouse! Goes way back to the days when Liverpool was a major port. The word derives from the Lapskaus (Norweigan for stew). Tus, our true scouser housekeeper, cooks up this very popular dish. Tasty, hot, satisfying stew with beef, potatoes and fresh bread. Cant beat it!
